My Mission

To make a difference by inspiring parents of children with autism to focus on their children’s potential.

My Immediate Goal

Sell my paintings everywhere in the world, so I can have Kayali’s door open to artists with autism where they can come to express themselves through their art.

Autism affects more than 70 million people worldwide.  In 1999, my mom and I emigrated to the United States in quest of answers and resources about autism.
The autism community is growing in the US. Out of 49 children, one  is affected by autism. In Haiti, there are no resources and services whatsoever. There are approximately 40 special need schools, located in Port-au-Prince, the capital, most of them are  private schools accessible  only to those who can financially afford to pay  in US$. The majority of parents with children with autism living in Haiti cannot afford to send their children to school or get the so needed therapy.
Kayali Studio pledges to give 20% of each piece of art’s proceeds
to help a child with autism living in Haiti go to school.

My Story

Alizee Saint-Louis is 24 years old. She emigrated to the United States in 1999 in quest of resources and answers about Autism. Graduated from Bluffton High School, in South Carolina, Alizee is a self-taught artist. She is verbal, but her ability to interfere and communicate with others is limited. Alizee’s mom assists her in some daily living.

Alizee has always shown a great interest for crafting and painting from a young age. Everything started in
2020 during the Corona pandemic, she was very depressed and enable to socialize and travel as usual. Then, she started using painting more often to express herself, cope with her depression, and also alleviate sensory issues that cause frustrations. In July 2020, she participated at “Art in the Park”, a virtual exhibition  organized by the USF/CARD (University of South Florida/Center for Autism & Related Disabilities) where she presented a 12×12 acrylic painting titled “The River”. Since then, her works have premiered in several exhibitions at the prestigious The Broward Center for Performing Arts in Fort Lauderdale, The Franciscan Center in Tampa, the “Define Beautiful Art” in New York, and several festivals.

Art is Alizee’s form of communication to show/tell others how she feels and sees the world.
